We currently support EPUB and FB2 formats—the most popular e-book formats for fiction and non-fiction. When you upload a book, we preserve its format: upload an EPUB, get an EPUB back. PDF is not supported because it's designed for fixed layouts, not flowing text.

AI translation generally produces grammatically correct text and does its best to capture context, idioms, and tone. However, it is not comparable to professional human translation. Occasional phrasing may sound unnatural, and subtle literary nuances can be lost. Think of it as a good working translation rather than a polished literary edition.

The vast majority of books will never be professionally translated—publishers only translate bestsellers into a handful of major languages. If you want to read a book that hasn't been translated into your language, AI translation may be your only realistic option. It won't match the polish of a top human translator, but it makes thousands of otherwise inaccessible books readable for you right now, in minutes, at a fraction of the cost.

Yes! Your book's original structure is preserved—chapters, quotes, images, and document layout remain intact. You get a beautiful result you can use right away on any e-reader device. However, this works best with natively created EPUB/FB2 files. Books converted from PDF or other formats may have broken internal formatting that can cause issues during translation.

Most books are translated within minutes to an hour, depending on length. You'll receive an email notification when your translation is ready for download. Short stories take just minutes; full novels may take longer.

Yes. Your uploaded books and translations are private—only you can access them. We do not share your content or use your books to train AI models. Files are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Yes! The files you download are standard EPUB or FB2 format. You can edit them with tools like Calibre or Sigil. If you find errors or want to personalize something, you're free to make changes—the downloaded file is yours.

PDF-to-EPUB converters often produce files with broken formatting—random line breaks mid-sentence, missing paragraph boundaries, corrupted layout. Our service does its best to handle these files, but we cannot guarantee successful translation. For the best results, use books that were originally published as EPUB or FB2.
